What is the Engineering Design Process?
The engineering design process is a series of steps that engineers follow to come up with a solution to a problem.
The Engineering Design Process consists of these 7 processes:
1. Identifying your constraints.
2. Researching your problem.
3. Developing possible solutions.
4. Selecting a promising solution based of information you have gather.
5. Prototyping.
6. Testing and evaluating prototypes.
7. Improve your design/solution.

How did we incorporate this into our VEX challenge?
Identifying Our Constraints & Needs. What we did here was discuss and elaborate over all of our constraints and things we have to take into consideration in VEX. In this you will see 9 main topics we discussed.
1. Game Rules 2. Outreach 3. Marketing 4. Robot 5. Cadding 6. Programming 7. Awards 8. Engineering Notebook 9. Fundraising/Budget Click here to find out more about how we identified our constraints! |
